About Sherdons

Sherdons Golf Centre was opened in 1992 by brothers David and Richard Chatham and remains a family run business.  The Centre is open to all and the management and staff alike take a great pride in the warmth of their welcome to all visitors, whether playing the Manor Course, using the Range for practice or just dropping in for a meal, a drink and a chat in our new Clubhouse with its renowned “feel good” factor!!

Operating what might be termed as a NO FEAR attitude towards the sport, Sherdons welcomes all level of players and the new Sherdons Golf Academy with our four PGA Professionals, prides itself on providing tuition for total beginners through to low handicap amateurs and Professional players alike. Similarly, all age groups are catered for with regular junior group lessons through to adult introduction and improver classes. 

Societies are very welcome at Sherdons and a variety of standard packages are available along with tailor made packages for those who require something a little different!

Whilst you will find the atmosphere at Sherdons relaxed, the traditional values of the sport are respected.  There is a dress code and players on the course and using the Centre are requested to wear smart appropriate clothing.
