Dress Code Policy

At Sherdons, we aim to provide a safe, enjoyable and respectful environment for all our guests. Our Manor Course dress code is designed to uphold the traditions of golf while ensuring comfort, and practicality for all players. Best summarised as Smart Casual. Adherence to these guidelines is appreciated, and helps maintain a fun, relaxed and safe environment for all.

  • Shirts:
    • Collared shirts (e.g., polo shirts, mock neck shirts) or T shirts (without offensive slogans or images) are required.
    • Football/rugby shirts, and sleeveless shirts (for men) are not permitted.
  • Trousers, Shorts & Skirts:
    • Trousers, shorts, or golf skirts/skorts are acceptable.
    • Tracksuits, and beachwear are not permitted.
  • Footwear:
    • Golf shoes with soft spikes or spikeless golf shoes are preferable. Sports trainers and cross trainers are permitted.
    • Street shoes, sandals, flip-flops, or any other non-golf specific footwear are not allowed on the course.

Discretion:

The management reserves the right to refuse access to the course or clubhouse facilities to anyone whose attire is deemed inappropriate or not in line with the spirit of the dress code. If you are unsure about any aspect of the dress code, please consult with the Pro Shop staff.
